About Us

Our History

The Fredericksburg ReStore started life as a yard sale in the late 1990s until they moved into a 3000 square foot space in the summer of 2000. Quickly outgrowing that space in 2004 they moved to a new 5700 square foot space off Route 1 in the 4 Mile Fork Business Center off Jefferson Davis Highway. The ReStore would continue to operate here for the next 10 years before needing to expand.

Construction began on a new ReStore location in July 2015 on the former site of a Hechinger Home Improvement store. The new 33,000 square foot space is located in the Gateway Shopping Center off Route 3. Construction was completed in November, and the new ReStore opened on November 21, 2015. Thanks to the generous donations from many local businesses and our community, we are able to build homes, communities, and hope in the Greater Fredericksburg Area.
